Folks, I need your help to leverage the power of the internet and share this post widely so I can make contact with the descendants of my Great Uncle, Bill Nutty. Some months ago, I made a podcast episode about Bill and his service in WWI.
Unlike many of my podcasts, I did not have a picture of him to commemorate his life as cover art for the episode, so I relied on a composite of WWI stock images. Since then, the lack of a simple picture has saddened me.
More troubling, to me, is the absence of contact with his sons and daughters and their families.
One of the themes of my podcast, is how that came to be, In the Bill episode, I appealed to my little listener base as follows:
